School reintegration
Back to a safe learning environment
What can you expect?
I offer guidance to children and young people who are (at risk of) dropping out of school. Whether it's a toddler struggling to let go or a student completely stuck in their education.
The child is central here, but there is also a lot of attention for parents, the family, school and other stakeholders.

For whom
This guidance is available for children aged 6 to 18 who are experiencing difficulties in or outside of education, for example due to behavioural problems, anxiety, overstimulation, loss of motivation, over- and under-stimulation and self-confidence.
Parents and schools can also ask questions such as:
How do we re-establish contact with the child?
How do we as a family deal with a school dropout?
How can we work better together as parents and schools?
How do we rebuild trust and structure?
Whether the situation has been going on for some time or has just arisen, we will work together to determine what is really needed.
I have experience working with children with ADHD, giftedness, and autism. In my guidance, I focus primarily on the child's behavior, thoughts, or feelings that hinder them, and less on the labels themselves.

How we work
In school reintegration, the child is central, but never separate from the bigger picture. Every program begins with an assessment of the entire system: child, family, school, and any other stakeholders. Based on a foundation of safety, connection, and trust, we explore together:
What the child needs to learn, develop and connect again.
The underlying causes of school dropout or behavioral problems, both in the child and in the environment.
The patterns within the family and school that hinder or can support recovery.
I work with systemic insight, practical guidance, and my experience as a teacher and youth care worker. This can be one-on-one with the child, the parents, the school, or a combination of both. The goal is sustainable change in the system and space for the child to flourish again.

Do it yourself
The real work happens between these coaching sessions: in the family, at school, and within the child's world. That's why I provide targeted advice and practical tools to the child, parents, and school.
Whether it's about new communication patterns, adapting to different behaviors, or building trust in the learning environment, each session is followed up in practice. This fosters cohesion, understanding, and progress toward independence.

Tailored sessions
No two children and situations are the same. That's why I design each program individually, tailored to the unique needs of the child and the surrounding system. A program always begins with an intake (possibly with several people involved), where we map out the situation together and formulate goals.
Depending on the request for help, the programme consists of sessions with the child, discussions with parents and/or school, and guidance in the family or at school.
