Act
Make space for what you think and feel, and discover what is really important for you and your relationship.
Acceptance and commitment therapy
During ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) sessions, we focus on your ability to manage emotions and thoughts flexibly. In practice, this means you'll learn to make space for what you feel and think, without letting it completely dictate your actions or well-being. Together, we'll explore what's truly important to you and help you guide your choices based on those core values. This empowers you to consciously and individually deal with stressful situations and challenges.

Why ACT works
ACT is effective because it doesn't try to change you, but rather helps you accept your inner experiences. Many people discover that resisting negative thoughts and emotions only increases tension. By learning to accept what you feel and focusing on what's meaningful to you, you learn to live according to your values instead of fear or frustration. ACT helps you bring a new sense of balance, resilience, and direction to your life and relationships.

A tailor-made trajectory
No two programs are the same. I tailor the program entirely to your specific situation and needs. Typically, a program consists of six to eight one-hour sessions, preceded by an intake interview of ninety minutes. This gives us the opportunity to delve deeply into your current situation and set goals together.
